DISTRIBUTION

Where are we? Right next door

We get some variant of this question all the time: Where the heck is Endwell, New York?

The answer, with or without added snark, is pretty much the same. Right next door.

Endwell is a suburb of Binghamton, N.Y., about halfway between Syracuse and Scranton, Pa. It’s about as central a location as one can get to the North American Megalopolis. It means we’re within an eight-hour drive of 90 million people.

That makes distribution simple and easy for us. How easy? Here’s the typical travel times we figure on when we load our materials onto a truck or into a van:

Syracuse, NY – 1.25 hours.
Albany, NY – 2.5 hours.
Rochester, NY – 2.75 hours.
New York City – 3.25 hours.
Philadelphia – 3.25 hours.
Buffalo, NY – 3.75 hours.
Baltimore – 4.75 hours.
Boston – 5.25 hours.
Burlington, VT – 5.25 hours.
Washington, D.C. – 5.5 hours.
Pittsburg – 6 hours.
Toronto, Canada – 6.25 hours.
Montreal, Canada – 6.25 hours.
Cleveland, Ohio – 6 hours.
Portland, Maine – 7 hours.
Richmond, VA – 7 hours.
Toledo, Ohio – 7.75 hours.
Detroit – 8.75 hours.
